Surrounded by the Rocky Mountains near Golden, BC. Camp Moose Trail is a unique glamping experience unlike any other. Passionate about nature and connection, Camp Moose Trail is a labour of love. Hand-built by owner and operator Mike, whose vision was to create a magical place for glamping in BC, where people could escape, connect, and recharge.
We care about the details as well as being as eco-friendly as possible! Every log was either a tree that was taken down during clearing, or hauled in from a slash pile from up a nearby logging road. Every rock in the pizza oven was hand selected and placed. Not only is Mike an incredible host, he also has great stories to share about Camp Moose Trail’s construction process. We love to share this magical space, we look forward to welcoming you! Please feel free to ask any questions when you’re out at camp.
Glamping in BC
Family is at the core of everything we do. It’s what drives us to follow our dream to build a magical oasis for glamping in BC.
Mike takes care of camp operations and he’s also a super host for our guests. Mike’s wife, Lyndsay takes care of bookings, customer service, and marketing. Our young son, Harry spent the summer of 2020 out at the camp helping his dad. He enjoyed spending lots of time in the woods learning valuable life lessons.
Last, but certainly not least, there’s Winston, Camp Moose Trail’s official greeter. Winston is a senior golden retriever living his best days out at camp. He loves greeting guests and cleaning up any crumbs that may fall.
