We always hope that you will consider rescheduling your reservation to another date in the event you have to cancel, so that you can come back and experience Camp Moose Trail.

  • 50% deposit due at the time of booking.

  • No shows will be charged 100% of the booking.

  • Full refund of your deposit for cancellations up to 7 days before check-in.

  • No refunds of deposit will be issued if cancelled less than 1 week before arrival.  However, your booked stay dates and deposit are fully transferable to another person for them to enjoy, at no charge.

  • If you know you will be arriving late, please let us know.  It is always nicer to arrive in the daylight to see the beautiful surroundings and get your bearings in the woods.

  • Please notify us if you will be arriving after 8PM.  Please email us at info@campmoosetrail.ca or call us at 403-763-0929 to notify us if you would like to request a late check-in.

Check Out: 11:00AM

Quiet Hours:  10:00PM-8:00AM

Fire Bans

  • We will adhere to all fire bans as declared by the province of BC.  Please reach out by email if you have questions about fire bans and your stay.  In the event of a fire ban, we replace our campfire with a propane fire pit to ensure s'mores are still able to happen!

Tent Stoves

  • The heat source of your tent is the fire place. If weather is cold ,you will need to stoke the fire throughout the night.  However, when your fire is going, the tent is extremely toasty, and equipped with -30 sleeping bags.

Things To Bring:

  • Headlamp

  • Solid footwear appropriate for the season

  • Bear spray

  • Hut booties/slippers/flip-flops for inside the tent

  • Towels (if you forget, we have a limited number available to purchase for $5)

  • Food - we provide breakfast and hot beverages.  Please bring your dinner.  You will have access to the bear hang for food if needed

  • Cooler with ice (if you are bringing meat/dairy)

  • Adventurous spirit

Facilities

  • We will always do our best to ensure that all facilities listed on our website are available during your stay. However, we cannot guarantee that they will be available as maintenance and other work may be necessary from time to time.

  • The facilities and amenities of Camp Moose Trail are for guests with booked accommodation only, and visitors are not permitted on the grounds.

Damages

  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the tents or any furnishings, fittings, utensils and equipment therein. The guest will be invoiced the amount required to remedy such damage. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we will invoice the guest and automatically charge the credit card on file.

  • Camp Moose Trail can charge guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from our facilities without consent. The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item and will be paid via credit card on file.

Cell Phone Reception/WIFI:

  • Cell phone reception is limited but available depending on where you stand. There should be enough for basic needs (texts, email, social media posting) but not reliable enough for streaming. There is no WIFI available, but can be found in the town of Golden, BC.  We don't recommend scheduling important phone calls while on site because weather conditions can alter reception.
